Responsibilities: As a Security Professional - Access Control - Full Time in Phoenix, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment. Your visible presence and commitment to outstanding customer service will be key in building strong relationships with those on site. This position requires driving as part of your responsibilities. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon11:00 PM - 07:00 AMTue11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSat07:00 AM - 03:00 PMSun07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You'll Do: * Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites * Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education * Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams * Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service * Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: * Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors to help to deter unauthorized entry. * Provide customer service by assisting individuals with directions, information, and responding to inquiries in a professional manner. * Carry out site-specific security-related procedures and follow established policies relevant to a manufacturing and industrial environment. * Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating when necessary according to protocol. * Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter potential security-related risks and identify unusual activity. * Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and actions taken using Allied Universal's reporting systems. * Support emergency response activities as required, including following evacuation or lockdown procedures specific to the location. What We're Looking For: * Availability across various days and shifts * Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments * A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company * Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: * Possession of a valid driver's license is required for driving positions only and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements. * A Guard Card is preferred. * Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
