Allied Universal is seeking  Security Operator Incident Reporting in Waterloo, Ontario.  

Job Title: Security Operator Incident Reporting

Location: Waterloo, ON

Type: Casual/ Floater

Pay Rate: $ 25.23 per hour

Shifts: Various shifts - Flexibility required

We are looking for a vigilant and detail-oriented Security Operator Incident Reporting to join our team. This role is essential for maintaining security and safety through the monitoring and reporting of incidents, ensuring adherence to security protocols, and responding to emergencies. Must be available to cover a variety of shifts, including morning, afternoon, and overnight shifts, throughout both weekdays and weekends. 

RESPONSIBILITIES :

* Continuously oversee alarm systems and CCTV cameras to detect and assess potential security threats.
* Document and report incidents accurately, ensuring all relevant details are captured for future reference and analysis.
* Evaluate situations to determine the level of risk and recommend appropriate responses.

* Maintain clear and professional communication through email correspondence with team members and other stakeholders.

* Manage remote access to secure areas, ensuring that only authorized personnel are allowed entry.

* Conduct routine checks of security systems and equipment to ensure they are functioning correctly and are up to date.

* Act swiftly in emergency situations, coordinating with law enforcement and emergency services as necessary.

* Maintain accurate logs of incidents, inspections, and other relevant documentation for compliance and review.

REQUIREMENTS :

* 1-2 years of experience working in a security operations center
* Must have a valid Ontario Security License.
* Flexibility and a willingness to work during different times of day and on weekends.
* Must be at least 18 years old.
* High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience
* Must have resided in Canada for 5 years or more to obtain site specific security clearance
* Familiarity with operating technology and wireless communication systems at client-specific sites.
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
* First Aid and CPR
