Responsibilities:

 As a Security Officer for Residential Community in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a residential community, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, remain highly visible, and respond to incidents with clear communication and customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license that meets Allied Universal driver policy requirements. You will support access control, document activity, and work as part of a caring, integrity-driven team that is agile, reliable, and innovative.

What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service to residents, guests, and vendors by carrying out Allied Universal and site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
* Conduct regular and random patrols of residential community areas, amenities, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or property damage.
* Control access at gates and/or entrances by checking credentials, issuing visitor information as directed, and directing traffic and/or deliveries according to site guidelines.
* Respond to incidents, alarms, and resident concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner, and notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
* Complete detailed shift reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs, and communicate relevant information to site management and/or incoming officers.

Minimum Requirements:

* A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
