Responsibilities: As a Security Officer Zone Patrol in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support tenants and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon10:00 PM - 06:00 AMTue10:00 PM - 06:00 AMWed10:00 PM - 06:00 AMThur10:00 PM - 06:00 AMFri10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: * Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location. * Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to property management and/or Allied Universal leadership. * Conduct regular and random patrols throughout building interiors, parking areas, common spaces, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and/or property-related concerns. * Monitor access points, lobby areas, and other assigned locations to help support authorized entry, visitor processing, and adherence to site rules and property guidelines. * Assist with alarm response, foot patrols, and routine inspections of doors, gates, lighting, and other key areas to help identify maintenance issues and/or security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements: * Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience. * Be at least 21 years of age. * Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
