Responsibilities:

 As a Security Officer - Water Treatment Patrol in Washington, DC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Cultural Institutions, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a renowned cultural institution, you will monitor and patrol galleries, entrances, and public spaces, helping to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence and routine rounds. You will greet guests, assist staff and visitors, and communicate clearly while documenting observations and concerns. What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a cultural institution setting.
* Conduct regular and random patrols of galleries, exhibit areas, offices, storage spaces, and perimeter routes to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards, maintenance issues, and/or policy concerns.
* Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, and assist with crowd flow, line management, and/or queue control during peak visitation and special events.
* Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical calls, disturbances, lost child or guest assistance, and/or fire and intrusion alarms, and coordinate with site leadership and first responders as needed.
* Complete detailed reports and daily activity logs, document incidents and observations, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal management and site contacts during shift transitions.

Minimum Requirements:

* Be 21+ Years of Age.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
