Responsibilities: As a Security Officer - Warehouse Patrol in Salt Lake City, UT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support access activity with strong customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon06:00 AM - 02:00 PMTue06:00 AM - 02:00 PMWed06:00 AM - 02:00 PMThur06:00 AM - 02:00 PMFri06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do: * Provide customer service to employees, drivers, vendors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and other security-related policies at a logistics and distribution location. * Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership. * Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading and unloading areas, parking areas, trailer yards, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related issues. * Monitor entry and exit points for people, packages, and vehicles, verifying credentials, visitor information, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures. * Support emergency response activities and assist with traffic flow, checkpoint coverage, and incident follow-up as needed for daily operations at the location. Minimum Requirements: * Customer service experience is preferred. * A guard card or license is preferred. * X-Ray screening experience is preferred. * Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. * Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
