You will monitor entrances, manage visitor and badge access, complete security-related logs, and conduct routine patrols to help to deter unwanted activity. What You'll Do:
* Provide customer service to personnel, drivers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
* Control access at entry and exit points by verifying identification, confirming authorization, and directing individuals to the appropriate check-in process.
* Screen vehicles, trailers, and deliveries as required by post orders, including checking seals, documentation, and load status while supporting shipping and receiving workflows.
* Maintain visitor, contractor, and driver logs using approved systems and/or written records, and communicate arrival and departure information to site contacts.
* Monitor cameras, alarms, and access control systems to help identify unusual activity and report concerns per site procedures.
* Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and emergency services when directed by post orders.
* Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, yard, dock areas, and perimeter to help identify hazards, unsecured doors, and unusual conditions, and report findings per policy.
* Write timely reports of daily activities, incidents, and policy exceptions, and submit required documentation to Allied Universal and site management.
* Support traffic control and staging at gates and/or yard areas by guiding vehicles to designated routes, parking areas, and check-in points while following site procedures.
* Assist with key, badge, and credential accountability processes as assigned, including tracking issuance and return per site policy.
Minimum Requirements:
* Customer service experience is preferred.
* Access control/badge experience is preferred.
* Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
