As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a busy retail location, you will conduct routine foot patrols, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with calm, professional communication. You will observe and report unusual activity, support store teams and guests with helpful service, and follow site procedures with integrity. What You'll Do: * Provide customer service to clients, tenants, and shoppers by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. * Respond to incidents, disputes, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate status updates to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision. * Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout retail floors, common areas, corridors, receiving areas, and exterior perimeter to help to deter theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access. * Monitor entrances and exits, observe shopper and employee activity for unusual behavior, and assist with access control as directed by post orders. * Complete patrol logs and incident reports with clear, accurate details, and support loss prevention and local law enforcement when requested, consistent with site guidelines. Minimum Requirements: * Customer service experience is preferred. * Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
