As an Allied Universal Security Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, support access control, and help identify and report security-related concerns. You will stay visible to help reduce incidents, assist team members, and deliver strong customer service through clear communication. What You'll Do: * Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. * Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as directed by post orders. * Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior warehouse areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized access, theft-related activity, and/or property damage. * Control access by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying identification and/or credentials when required, and directing drivers, carriers, and visitors to the appropriate check-in areas. * Complete detailed written reports and logs for patrol activity, irregular conditions, alarms, and incident response, and communicate relevant updates during shift transitions. Minimum Requirements: * Be at least 21+ years of age. * X-Ray screening experience is preferred. * Customer service experience is preferred. * Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. * At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks. * Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
