Responsibilities:

 As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrols in Tucson, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. 

 As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment within an aerospace and defense location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, providing a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assisting with access control and badge procedures. You will interact with employees, visitors, and contractors, offering exceptional customer service and clear communication at all times. This position requires driving as part of your patrol duties, so a valid driver's license is essential. What You'll Do:

* Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
* Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
* Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
* Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
* Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

* Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
* Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
* Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, which may include areas related to aerospace and defense operations.
* Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related incidents encountered during patrols.
* Assist visitors and employees with security-related inquiries and provide directions as needed.
* Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and/or client representatives regarding any incidents or emergencies.
* Follow post orders and instructions specific to the location, adapting to varying working environments and conditions as required.

* Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
* A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
* Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

* Be at least 21 years of age.
* A valid driver's license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
* Possession of a Guard Card or security-related license is preferred.
* CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
* Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
