Responsibilities:

 As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Team in Fremont, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a fast-paced automotive location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine foot and/or vehicle-area patrols, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will interact with employees and visitors, document observations, and communicate clearly using site technology while supporting a caring, people-first culture. What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an automotive location.
* Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, perimeter lines, and designated production and delivery zones, as permitted by post orders.
* Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with evacuations, medical calls, and/or fire or alarm activations as directed.
* Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization for entry, and/or direct employees, contractors, and guests to appropriate check-in locations in accordance with site policies.
* Document patrol activity, incidents, and policy violations in written reports and logs, and communicate observations to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

* Have 1+ years of security-related experience.
* Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
* Be 21+ years of age.
* Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
* Having a guard card and/or license is preferred.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
