Responsibilities:
As a Security Officer Patrol Examiner in Sterling, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access awareness throughout the property. This role calls for strong communication, professionalism, and customer service, along with a team-focused mindset. What You'll Do:
* Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
* Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information through appropriate reporting channels.
* Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, lobby areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
* Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter unauthorized access, support visitor processing, and/or report suspicious behavior in accordance with site procedures.
* Support closing and opening routines, observe alarms and access points, and communicate with site contacts and/or first responders when circumstances require additional assistance.
Minimum Requirements:
* Possess 2+ years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
* Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
* Be 21+ years of age.
* Alarm panel experience is preferred.
* Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
