Join Allied Universal as a driving patrol officer at a government location, where you will monitor parking facilities and surrounding areas through routine vehicle and foot patrols. You will remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, support the public with outstanding customer service, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeTue10:00 PM - 06:00 AMWed10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: * Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a government parking location. * Respond to incidents, parking-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting issues to the appropriate personnel. * Conduct regular and random patrols throughout parking areas, access points, and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance, lighting, and/or policy concerns. * Monitor vehicle and pedestrian activity, assist with directions and general information, and help to support orderly use of public parking facilities in accordance with location rules. * Observe and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or unusual conditions, and communicate with supervisors, local authorities, and/or site representatives as needed. Minimum Requirements: * A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. * A guard card or license is preferred. * Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
