Responsibilities:

 As a Security Officer Patrol Documentation in Sterling, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and help support a professional, welcoming environment. In this role, you will remain visible to help deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service and communication.  What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and customers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
* Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
* Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the banking location, including entrances, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
* Monitor access points and observe on-site activity to help to deter unauthorized entry, report suspicious behavior, and support established visitor and employee access procedures.
* Support day-to-day operations by preparing reports, maintaining post records, and providing courteous assistance with security-related questions, directions, and/or concerns.

 Minimum Requirements:

* Be at least 21 years of age.
* Possess 2 or more years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
* Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
* Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
* Access control and badge experience is preferred.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
