Responsibilities: As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol CRE in Newark, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, help to deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to those on site. This position is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license. What You'll Do: * Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations. * Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times. * Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report any unusual findings. * Observe and report any suspicious or irregular activities, hazards, or potential threats within the location. * Maintain clear and accurate documentation of incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and site-specific protocols. * Collaborate with other Allied Universal team members and site personnel to support a secure environment for tenants, visitors, and employees. Minimum Requirements: * A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. * Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
