Responsibilities: As a Security Officer- Unarmed Logistics Patrols in Lewisville, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more . As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for all personnel and visitors. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents and promote a welcoming atmosphere. You will conduct routine patrols throughout the facility, interact with staff and visitors, and provide exceptional customer service while addressing inquiries or concerns. Your role will also include supporting access control measures and responding promptly to any security-related situations that may arise. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon10:00 PM - 06:00 AMTue10:00 PM - 06:00 AMWed10:00 PM - 06:00 AMThur10:00 PM - 06:00 AMFri10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: * Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites * Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education * Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams * Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service * Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: * Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate. * Respond to incidents and critical situations at the logistics and distribution location in a calm, problem-solving manner. * Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. * Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity in and around the logistics and distribution location. * Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and other security-related activities as required by Allied Universal and site protocols. * Collaborate with site personnel and local authorities as needed to address security-related concerns and/or emergencies. * Support access control procedures by monitoring entrances, exits, and/or restricted areas within the logistics and distribution facility. What We're Looking For: * Availability across various days and shifts * Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments * A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company * Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: * Must be at least 21 years of age. * Customer service experience is preferred. * Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. * Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
