Responsibilities:

 As a Security Officer - Unarmed Institution Patrol in Malvern, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will actively patrol and monitor financial institution locations, supporting a secure environment for clients and staff. This armed and driving post involves conducting routine patrols, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
* Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the protection of people and property.
* Conduct regular and random patrols around the financial institution's facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
* Monitor and control access points, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering restricted areas as required by site policies.
* Observe and report any suspicious behavior, security-related hazards, or unusual occurrences to Allied Universal management and/or site representatives.
* Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter unwanted activity and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.
* Interact professionally with employees, visitors, and clients, providing assistance and information as needed while upholding Allied Universal standards.
* Document all incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

* At least two years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience is required.
* Graduation from a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent is required.
* Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
* A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
* Act 235 qualification is required for positions in Pennsylvania only.
* Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
