Position Type: Part Time - Afternoon

Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $1.96. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

Requirements 

* Valid Driver's License
* 21+ years of age
* Have ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam
* Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements)

 What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an airport location.
* Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information with site contacts and/or public agency partners as needed.
* Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
* Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and nearby activity for policy compliance, assisting with access control, directional support, and other security-related duties.
* Support daily operations at a government location by following post orders, communicating clearly with supervisors and/or local authorities, and completing routine reports and logs.

 Minimum Requirements:

* Be at least 21 years of age.
* Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
* Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
