Responsibilities: As a Security Officer - Tech Facility Screener in Shepherdsville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Screener in a dynamic tech and media environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will interact with employees and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do: * Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate. * Screen individuals entering the location to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a secure environment. * Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. * Monitor entry and exit points, verifying credentials and/or identification as required by site protocols. * Communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and contractors, providing assistance and guidance as needed. * Document observations and incidents according to Allied Universal and site-specific reporting requirements. * Maintain awareness of surroundings and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel. Minimum Requirements: * Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
