Responsibilities:

 As a Security Officer - Tech Dispatch Full-Time in Santa Clara, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal in a leading technology-focused location, you will coordinate security-related communications and support team members in the field. Your role involves monitoring activity, relaying critical information, and providing outstanding customer service. By helping to deter incidents and responding promptly to calls, you play a vital part in maintaining a secure and welcoming environment that aligns with our values of teamwork, integrity, and innovation.

What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
* Monitor site communications and coordinate dispatch activities to support operations at the location.
* Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, relaying information to relevant personnel as needed.
* Maintain accurate logs and records of all dispatch communications and incident reports.
* Communicate with on-site personnel, law enforcement, and/or emergency responders as required.
* Assist with access control measures by monitoring entry and exit points remotely.
* Support Allied Universal and client policies by following established protocols for incident response and escalation.
* Remain alert to unusual activities or conditions and promptly report any concerns to the appropriate parties.

Minimum Requirements:

* Have at least 1 year of security-related experience or 1 year of law enforcement experience or 2 years of security supervisor or manager experience or 3 years of security-related experience.
* Be at least 21 years of age.
* Customer service experience is preferred.
* Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
