Join Allied Universal as a Screener in a dynamic tech and communications location, where you will help monitor entry activity, screen visitors and/or staff, and support a professional, welcoming atmosphere. This role combines strong communication, attention to detail, and customer service while helping with security-related procedures. Guided by a caring culture, teamwork, reliability, and integrity, you will play an important part in daily site operations. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.40 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeThur02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSat02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: * Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access control protocols, security-related policies, and/or emergency response activities at a fast-paced technology location. * Screen employees, visitors, vendors, and/or deliveries entering and exiting the location, following post orders and reporting irregular activity, prohibited items, and/or policy concerns. * Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed. * Conduct regular and random patrols around assigned areas and perimeter locations, remaining attentive to entry points, screening stations, and high-traffic spaces where working conditions may vary by site. Minimum Requirements: * Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
