Responsibilities:

 As a Security Officer - Screening in Chandler, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a dynamic tech location, where you will help support security-related screening activities, monitor access points, and assist with badge and visitor processing. In this customer-facing role, you will remain visible, communicate clearly, and help create a welcoming environment. Guided by our agile, reliable, and innovative approach, you will work with a caring team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

 What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
* Screen persons, bags, packages, and/or personal items in accordance with site policies, and report unusual findings or prohibited items to site leadership and/or emergency personnel.
* Verify credentials, review visitor logs, and monitor entry and exit activity to help support authorized access and other security-related procedures.
* Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions in clear written reports.
* Conduct regular and random patrols around entrances, lobbies, screening areas, and the surrounding perimeter as directed by post orders and site needs.

 Minimum Requirements:

* 1+ years of security-related experience is required.
* Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
* Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
* Customer service experience is preferred.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
