Responsibilities: As a Security Officer Screener in Chino, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a busy logistics and distribution location, you will help monitor access, screen people and/or packages, and support smooth daily operations through visible presence, routine patrols, and strong communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.80 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeWed10:00 PM - 06:00 AMThur10:00 PM - 06:00 AMFri10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSat10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSun10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: * Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and site personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. * Screen individuals, packages, and/or deliveries entering or leaving the location in accordance with site protocols, and report unusual activity, discrepancies, and/or policy concerns to the appropriate contacts. * Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or shipping documentation, and help to deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas. * Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site leadership and/or emergency personnel as needed. * Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, as assigned, while observing operational areas for suspicious activity, damaged barriers, and/or other security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements: * Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
