Responsibilities: As a Security Officer Roving Patrol in West Chester, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.22 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon01:00 PM - 09:00 PMTue01:00 PM - 09:00 PMWed01:00 PM - 09:00 PMThur01:00 PM - 09:00 PMFri01:00 PM - 09:00 PM What You'll Do: * Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. * Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. * Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, parking areas, trailer yards, entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify conditions that may require attention. * Monitor entry and exit activity for personnel, visitors, and/or deliveries, verify credentials and/or visitor information as required by site policies, and support orderly traffic flow at gates and access points. * Observe facility operations and report damaged doors, gates, fencing, lighting, and/or other property conditions that could affect security-related operations or business continuity. Minimum Requirements: * Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
