Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeFri04:30 PM - 12:30 AMSat04:30 PM - 12:30 AM What You'll Do: * Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, following security-related policies, and/or responding to emergency situations as appropriate within a retail location. * Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and document observations and activities according to site protocols. * Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the store, entrance areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or policy concerns. * Monitor customer and employee traffic, report suspicious behavior, and/or help support loss prevention awareness through visible presence and timely communication. * Assist with access control, closing procedures, and/or after-hours checks as assigned, while maintaining attention to property conditions and security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements: * Customer service experience is preferred. * Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. * A guard card or license is preferred. * Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
