Responsibilities:

 As a Security Officer - Access Control Specialist in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol commercial real estate locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a welcoming presence for tenants and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and tenants by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the commercial real estate location.
* Control access to the property by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access.
* Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols and site instructions.
* Conduct regular and random patrols of the business premises and surrounding perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and identify potential concerns.
* Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by site policies.
* Support emergency response activities, including assisting with evacuations and/or coordinating with emergency personnel as needed.
* Communicate professionally with property management, tenants, and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related matters and site-specific needs.

Minimum Requirements:

* A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
* State, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
