Responsibilities:

 As a Security Officer - Armed Driver Rounds in Saint Louis, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine vehicle patrols and perimeter checks, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and calls for service. This driving post requires a valid driver's license and an armed guard card or license. You will deliver clear communication, professional reporting, and customer service aligned with Allied Universal's integrity, teamwork, agility, and caring culture.

Rate: 18.93 Unarmed / $20.55 Armed - Weekly Pay

Requirements: 

* Must be 21+ years of age
* 1 year of Security, Law Enforcement or Military Experience
* Driver's License Required with Good Driving History
* Must be willing to become armed within 6 months of hire
* Computer Literacy due to Digital Training and Electronic Reports

What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service to clients at a chemical and/or petrochemical location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
* Perform armed foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production areas, loading docks, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
* Monitor and respond to alarms, access control systems, and radio communications; verify badges and/or credentials for employees, contractors, and visitors as required by site policy.
* Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, coordinating with site contacts, and documenting actions taken.
* Complete written and/or electronic reports, log entries, and incident documentation; report hazards, suspicious activity, and equipment issues to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

* Have 1 or more years of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
* Possess an armed guard card or license.
* Be at least 21 years of age.
* A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
* Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
