Responsibilities:

 As a Security Officer Reception Operations Specialist in Wayne, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal at a healthcare location where you will serve as the welcoming front desk presence, monitoring access, assisting visitors, and responding to security-related concerns with professionalism and care.  What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out site-specific procedures, visitor processing, and/or access control activities for a healthcare location.
* Monitor lobby and reception areas, verify identification and credentials, and help to deter unauthorized access through consistent front desk presence and security-related awareness.
* Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate site personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
* Maintain accurate front desk logs, visitor records, and incident documentation, and communicate relevant security-related information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
* Support employees, patients, visitors, and vendors with directions, check-in procedures, and other front desk assistance while following location policies and confidentiality expectations.

 Minimum Requirements:

* Possess 5 or more years of security-related experience.
* A guard card and/or license is preferred.
* Customer service experience is preferred.
* Loss prevention experience is preferred.
* Be comfortable using a computer and/or tablet.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
