Responsibilities: As a Security Officer - Real Estate Patrol in Durham, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate and more . In this role, you will be responsible for patrolling commercial real estate locations, primarily through driving, to help deter security-related incidents. As an unarmed patrol officer, you will maintain a visible presence, providing exceptional customer service and communication to those on the premises. Your duties will include conducting routine patrols and addressing any concerns that arise, all while embodying our company's values of agility, reliability, and innovation. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeTue04:00 PM - 10:00 PMSat04:00 PM - 10:00 PMSun04:00 PM - 10:00 PM Responsibilities: * Provide customer service by implementing security procedures and site-specific policies, and engage in emergency response activities when necessary. * Respond to incidents and critical situations with a calm and problem-solving approach. * Conduct regular and random patrols around the business premises and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions at different locations. Minimum Requirements: * Applicants must be at least 21 years of age. * A valid driver's license is required in accordance with AU Driver Policy Requirements. * NC Security Professional Guard Card required. * CPR Certification is preferred. * Primarily Driving Post is preferred. * Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
