Responsibilities:
As a Security Officer - Plant Patrol Driver in Waterloo, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine vehicle and on-foot patrols, stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. You will communicate clearly, document observations, and respond to needs with the agile, reliable, innovative, people-first, integrity-driven teamwork that defines Allied Universal.

What You'll Do:
* Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
* Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
* Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking lots, and the perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized access and other security-related concerns.
* Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification, managing visitor check-in and/or badging, and directing deliveries to approved receiving areas per site procedures.
* Complete required logs and reports including patrol activity, incident reports, and shift turnover notes, and communicate key information to supervisors and site stakeholders.
Minimum Requirements:
* Client requires proof of HS Diploma/GED.
* A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
* Lift More Than 20 lbs is preferred.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
