Responsibilities: As a Security Officer - Perimeter Sweep Patrol in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a charter school location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. You will complete routine rounds, observe and report unusual activity, and communicate clearly with site personnel. What You'll Do: * Provide customer service to staff, students, families, and visitors by following site-specific procedures, supporting security-related protocols, and assisting with emergency response activities when appropriate. * Conduct regular and random patrols of campus buildings, hallways, common areas, and exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or security-related concerns. * Monitor access points during arrival, dismissal, and special events by verifying authorization, directing visitors to proper check-in areas, and assisting with visitor management requirements. * Respond to incidents, alarms, and requests for assistance in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with school administration and local responders as needed. * Document patrol activities, incidents, and observations in written reports and/or electronic systems, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts. Minimum Requirements: * Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
