Responsibilities:
As a Security Officer Patrol Specialist in Tuscaloosa, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, and support a professional environment through strong communication and customer service. In this role, you will help to deter security-related incidents while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, care for people, and integrity every day.

What You'll Do:
* Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and emergency response actions appropriate to the location.
* Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to the appropriate contacts.
* Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout industrial grounds, buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
* Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and follow site protocols for deliveries, contractors, and vehicle access.
* Support security-related operations within a chemical and petrochemical location by maintaining awareness of changing conditions, following post orders, and communicating clearly with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
* Be at least 21 years of age.
* Access control and badge experience is preferred.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
