Responsibilities:

 As a Security Officer Patrol Sentinel in Corpus Christi, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access awareness through strong customer service and communication. In this role, you will be part of a caring, agile team that values reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity every day.

 Pay Rate: $18.25 / Hour

 What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service to all persons at the location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial environment.
* Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations, actions taken, and relevant details according to site protocols.
* Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
* Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization as directed by site procedures, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contact.
* Support day-to-day location operations by maintaining a visible presence, communicating professionally with employees, contractors, and visitors, and following Allied Universal standards for reporting and post duties.

Minimum Requirements:

* Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
* The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
* A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
* Comfort using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
