As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a busy retail location, maintaining a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents while supporting guests, staff, and daily operations. This role combines routine patrols, strong communication, and customer service with a caring, reliable team that values people first, integrity, and innovation. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $16.38 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat05:00 AM - 05:00 PMSun05:00 AM - 05:00 PM What You'll Do: * Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. * Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observed activity and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership. * Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floor areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter locations, as assigned. * Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations, and/or potential loss prevention concerns, helping to deter unauthorized behavior through visible presence and timely reporting. * Assist with access control, closing procedures, and/or crowd and queue monitoring during busy business hours, special events, or high-traffic periods. Minimum Requirements: * Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
