Responsibilities:

 As a Security Officer Patrol Operations in Clearwater Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a hotel and resort location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. In this guest-focused role, you will support access control activities, deliver outstanding customer service and communication, and bring Allied Universal's values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity to every shift.

 Pay Rate: $19.90 / Hour

 What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a hotel and resort setting.
* Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
* Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, hallways, guest-facing areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
* Monitor access points, assist with visitor and vendor entry procedures, and report maintenance, housekeeping, and/or security-related issues observed during patrols.
* Support hotel operations by providing directions, answering questions, and helping address disturbances, noise complaints, and/or policy violations in a professional manner.

 Minimum Requirements:

* Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
* Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
* Be at least 21 years of age.
* Customer service experience is preferred.
* Access control and badge experience is preferred.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
