Responsibilities:
As a Security Officer Patrol in Belmont, WV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, and support daily security-related operations. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license, offering the opportunity to stay active, remain visible to help discourage incidents, and deliver strong customer service while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

What You'll Do:
* Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
* Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner and document security-related concerns according to site procedures.
* Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, with awareness that working environments and conditions may vary across the site.
* Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
* Report hazards, maintenance issues, spills, and/or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel while supporting security-related operations and site policies.
Minimum Requirements:
* A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
* Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
* Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
* Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
