Responsibilities: As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol in Washington, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a food and beverage processing location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, watch for unusual activity, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors while documenting key observations. What You'll Do: * Provide customer service to site personnel, drivers, and/or visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. * Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions taken per site requirements. * Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, yards, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify irregular conditions. * Control access at designated entry points by checking identification, verifying appointments and/or delivery paperwork, and directing traffic flow in accordance with site procedures. * Complete daily activity reports and incident reports, communicate updates to supervision and site contacts, and support investigations by preserving observations and available information. Minimum Requirements: * Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
