Responsibilities: As a Security Officer Patrol Guard in Ellenwood, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and support employees, visitors, and operations with outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $16.33 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon03:00 PM - 11:00 PMTue03:00 PM - 11:00 PMFri03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSat03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSun03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You'll Do: * Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. * Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed. * Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, trailer yards, loading and unloading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions. * Monitor entrances, exits, and key operational areas to help to identify suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or potential hazards involving personnel, visitors, and deliveries. * Support site operations by reporting maintenance issues, checking gates and access points, and following post orders related to shipping, receiving, and after-hours activity. Minimum Requirements: * Be at least 21 years of age. * Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
