Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, offering the opportunity to support daily security-related operations with agility, reliability, and integrity while working as part of a caring, team-oriented culture. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon07:30 AM - 04:00 PMTue07:30 AM - 04:00 PM What You'll Do: * Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. * Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations according to site guidelines. * Conduct regular and random patrols throughout shopping areas, common areas, parking locations, and perimeter points to help identify unusual activity and/or maintenance concerns. * Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic locations to help support orderly operations, assist with access-related concerns, and document security-related issues. * Communicate with management, local contacts, and/or emergency personnel as needed while providing visible support at a retail location. Minimum Requirements: * A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located. * The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. * Customer service experience is preferred. * A guard card and/or license is preferred. * Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
