Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic education location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control functions. This is a driving post. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeThur08:00 PM - 06:00 AMFri08:00 PM - 06:00 AMSat08:00 PM - 06:00 AMSun08:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: * Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and/or faculty by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. * Respond to incidents, campus-related concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting relevant information to leadership when needed. * Conduct regular and random patrols throughout academic buildings, residential areas, parking lots, and perimeter locations, helping to deter unauthorized activity and unusual behavior. * Monitor access points and campus grounds, assisting with visitor interactions, badge or credential checks, and reporting maintenance, lighting, and/or security-related issues observed during patrols. * Support a professional presence at the location by following post orders, providing directions and assistance, and communicating clearly with campus personnel and/or first responders during routine and emergency situations. Minimum Requirements: * Have 1+ years of law enforcement experience or 2+ years of security-related supervisor/manager experience or 3+ years of security-related experience. * A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. * Access control/badge experience is preferred. * Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. * Customer service experience is preferred. * Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
