Responsibilities: As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Shreveport, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, where you will help manage entry points, monitor site activity, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. Bring strong communication, teamwork, and integrity to a role that supports people first while delivering reliable, innovative service. Position Type: Full Time Must have a valid drivers license Weekly Pay Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon10:00 PM - 06:00 AMTue10:00 PM - 06:00 AMWed10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSat10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: * Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific access procedures, credential checks, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location. * Monitor and control entry and exit points, verify identification and/or authorization, issue visitor access materials, and maintain required access records in accordance with site policies. * Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observed concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal management. * Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, operational areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions related to the location. * Support screening and inspection processes for people, vehicles, and/or deliveries entering the location, following post orders and client-directed procedures for restricted areas. Minimum Requirements: * A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. * Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. * Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
