Responsibilities: As a Security Officer Patrol Crew in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a commercial real estate location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour Job Schedule: Including Tuesday 7p-7am (ALTERNATING TUESDAYS) DayTimeWed07:00 PM - 07:00 AMThur07:00 PM - 07:00 AMFri07:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do: * Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. * Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and communicate relevant details to property management and/or emergency services as needed. * Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including lobbies, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help identify unusual activity and/or maintenance-related concerns. * Monitor access points, observe on-site activity, and report suspicious behavior, unsecured areas, and/or policy violations in accordance with post instructions. * Support daily operations at a commercial real estate location by documenting incidents, completing assigned reports, and assisting with security-related requests from authorized personnel. Minimum Requirements: * A New York State Security Guard License is required. * Be at least 21 years of age. * Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
