Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.02 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeWed07:30 AM - 04:00 PMThur07:30 AM - 04:00 PMFri07:30 AM - 04:00 PMSat07:30 AM - 04:00 PMSun07:30 AM - 04:00 PM What You'll Do: * Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and patients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a public healthcare location. * Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through proper channels when needed. * Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, entrances, waiting areas, corridors, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions. * Monitor access points and observe activity within the location, documenting incidents and/or notable observations in accordance with post orders and Allied Universal guidelines. * Support a courteous and orderly environment by assisting with directions, managing visitor interactions, and reporting hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel. Minimum Requirements: * At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. * Loss prevention experience is preferred. * Customer service experience is preferred. * Alarm panel experience is preferred. * Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. * Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
