Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy retail location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. In this role, you will support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSun03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You'll Do: * Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. * Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed. * Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floor areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and the perimeter, as assigned. * Monitor for suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or potential hazards to help support order at the location and report concerns through proper channels. * Assist with access control, crowd management, and/or de-escalation during busy store hours, special events, or other high-traffic periods. Minimum Requirements: * A guard card or license is preferred. * Customer service experience is preferred. * Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. * Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
