Responsibilities: As a Security Officer - Patrol Associate in Denver, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Cultural Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a cultural institution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this people-first role, you will support daily operations with integrity, teamwork, and a reliable approach while helping create a welcoming environment for visitors, staff, and guests. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.20 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeFri12:00 AM - 08:00 AMSat12:00 AM - 12:00 PMSun12:00 AM - 12:00 PM What You'll Do: * Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a cultural institution location. * Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. * Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, entry points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential concerns. * Monitor visitor, staff, and/or vendor activity while assisting with access control, directional support, and policy awareness in a professional manner. * Support daily operations during services, events, and/or public visiting hours by reporting hazards, disturbances, and/or maintenance-related issues through proper channels. Minimum Requirements: * Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
