Responsibilities:

 As a Security Officer - Patrol Alarm Response in Louisville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading tech and media location as an unarmed patrol officer. You will complete routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, respond to alarms and access concerns, and document activities while providing customer service. You will work with a team that is agile, reliable, and innovative, in a caring culture that puts people first and delivers through teamwork and integrity.

What You'll Do:

* Provide customer service to staff, tenants, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access control guidelines, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
* Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout office and technology campus areas, including exterior perimeter, parking areas, and common spaces to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards or maintenance issues.
* Monitor alarms, CCTV, and communications systems as assigned; investigate irregular activity and escalate concerns per post orders and Allied Universal protocols.
* Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; provide basic assistance, coordinate with site contacts and/or local first responders, and follow incident command direction as needed.
* Complete detailed reports for daily activities, patrol observations, access events, and incident response actions; maintain accurate logs and communicate shift updates during post turnovers.

Minimum Requirements:

* Have at least 2 or more years of security-related experience.
* Alarm panel experience is preferred.
* Loss prevention experience is preferred.
* Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
* Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
