Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic educational location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support students, staff, and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication. In this people-first role, you will bring reliability, integrity, and teamwork to every shift while helping create a welcoming campus environment. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $20.40 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeWed08:00 AM - 04:00 PMThur08:00 AM - 04:00 PM What You'll Do: * Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at an educational location. * Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed. * Conduct regular and random patrols throughout campus buildings, common areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions. * Monitor access points and observe visitor, student, faculty, and staff activity in accordance with location protocols while reporting concerns to the appropriate personnel. * Support daily operations by assisting with directional information, monitoring for policy violations, and/or reporting maintenance, environmental, or security-related issues observed during patrols. Minimum Requirements: * Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
