In this unarmed patrol role, you will support a caring environment through teamwork, acting with integrity while bringing an agile, reliable, and innovative approach to daily responsibilities. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $35.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon03:00 PM - 11:00 PMTue03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You'll Do: * Provide customer service to staff, patients, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location. * Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed. * Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. * Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and report security-related concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel. * Support daily operations by assisting with directional inquiries, observing high-traffic areas, and maintaining awareness of hospital and/or clinic routines, delivery activity, and after-hours access. Minimum Requirements: * A state, county, and/or city-issued security-related license is preferred. * Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
