As a Screener with Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will support security-related operations at key entry points by screening people, packages, and deliveries, checking credentials, and documenting activity. You will stay visible, communicate clearly with team members and site personnel, and help identify irregularities for follow-up. What You'll Do: * Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution facility. * Screen employees, visitors, and deliveries at designated checkpoints, including verifying identification, managing access logs, and inspecting packages and/or freight as required by site procedures. * Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting concerns through established communication and documentation channels. * Monitor screening areas, entrances, and shipping and receiving activity for unusual conditions that may help to deter unauthorized access and/or prohibited items. * Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter when assigned; working environments and conditions may vary by location. Minimum Requirements: * Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred. * Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. * Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. * X-ray screening experience is preferred. * Loss prevention experience is preferred. * Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
