As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help manage entry points, verify badges and visitor access, monitor activity, and support a secure environment for employees and guests. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and use computer or tablet systems to document access-related activity. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat12:00 AM - 12:00 PMSun12:00 AM - 12:00 PM What You'll Do: * Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and/or delivery drivers while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities. * Monitor and control entry and exit points at a manufacturing and industrial location, verifying visitor, contractor, and vehicle authorization in accordance with site requirements. * Maintain accurate access-control logs, issue and recover authorized credentials, and communicate access concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. * Respond to incidents, access-control alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established security-related procedures. * Conduct regular and random patrols of designated interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unauthorized activity or facility concerns. Minimum Requirements: * Customer service experience is preferred. * Access control and badge experience is preferred. * Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. * Be at least 21 years of age * Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. * Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. * As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. * A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
